Plan your event-day transportation
![]() |
Before you arrive at the start line for Sunday's memorable Step Up for Mental Health run/walk, make sure you plan your transportation to the start line at Prairieland Park. There are several options:
- Park at Prairieland Park by entering on Ruth Street or Lorne Avenue
- Park on the street in the surrounding community near Prairieland Park and walk to the start line
- Park near the finish line (which is located on Spadina Cres near the Sheraton Hotel) and take the free shuttle bus to the start line.
The shuttle bus will run continuously in a loop from the finish line to the start line beginning at 7:15 a.m. The shuttle bus pick-up is at the corner of 22nd Street and 5th Avenue (in front of the James Hotel). This is just a short walk from the finish line. There will be 10 shuttle busses running throughout the morning, so there will always be a bus to board.
Regardless of your transportation choice, please make sure you are at the start line about 30 minutes before the start of your event. The 10km and 21.1km events start at 8:30 a.m. The 5km begins at 9:30 a.m.
If you choose to park at the start line, you can take the free shuttle bus to your car after you cross the finish line downtown. The shuttle bus system will operate until 12:15 p.m. with continuous departures from 22nd Street and 5th Avenue.
If you’d rather bike than drive, the bike valet will be available at Prairieland Park near the start line. Park your bike securely before you head to the start line, then use the shuttle bus to return to pick-up your bike after the race.
Finally, the bus system is also available for family and friends to use to travel between the finish line and the start line.
Thanks for participating on Sunday. You are making a difference for those impacted by mental health in Saskatchewan.
